Friends,

Could someone please upload the full film version of the following great song?

"Phool Ko Dhoondhe Pyasa Bhanwara---Jeet Hi Lenge Baazi Hum Tum, Pyar Adhura Chute Na"--Film:Shola Aur Shabnam (1961)--MD:Khayyam--Rafi & Lata

The opening lines before the main song and the piano interlude after that are just out-of-the-world!

Thanks,

Venkat

Venkat bhai,

I have an audio of this song that runs for 3:35. I haven't checked if it's full version.
If it is ok, I will gladly upload it for you.

Hari Ram

Hari Ram,

See whether the opening lines before the actual song and the Piano piece are there!

Venkat

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

Well, it has 22sec piano prelude. But it is missing the mukhda and straight away starts with 'jeet hi lenge ...'.
I too would love to hear the full version.

Sanjay Ji,

Heart-felt thanks for this full, extended version of this song with the sublime opening lines, which is now a hot topic in another Rafi thread!

Sanjay Ji, just hear the way he says "Tujh Ko Teraaa Deewanaaaaa aa" in the opening lines! Isn't it it giving goose bumps!

Venkat Ji,
1000% agreed. Such songs can only be completely understood by our Dil (no words can explain them fully). There is a special "Kump (vibrations)" in Rafi"s voice throughout this song, which is extremely special and God given. Similar "Kump" is to be noticed also in "Swapna jhade phhol se (Nai Umar Ki...)". The Rafi voice smoothly runs over your goose bumps that is for sure.

Friends,

As luck would repeat sometimes, I have once again today heard on 7 A.M. Bhoole Bhisre Geet on Vividhbharati, this following nice Rafi-Suman duet:

"Irada Na Tha Aap Se Pyaar Ka, Magar Ho Gaya Dil"---Film:Aandhi Aur Toofan(1964)--MD:Robin Banerjea--Rafi & Suman

Could someone kindly upload this very nice duet?

Thanks,

Venkat
