Friends,

Today, while listening to Bhoole Bhisre Geet at 7 A.M. on Vivdhbharati, I have discovered an extremely nice and a very rare solo of Rafi Saab from a Film called MOHINI(1957). The MD is N.Datta.

"Kya Kya Na Sitam Tujh Pe Huve Mahalon Ki Raani"---Film:Mohini(1957)---ND:N.Datta---Rafi

Now, friends, this song's tune is almost identical (both in Mukhada and Antaras) to N.Datta's own "Tu Hind Bane Ya Na Musalmaan Banega" from Film:Dhool Ka Phool(1959)!

Could someone like CM2 Ji or Mirsa Ji or other seniors please upload this very nice song?

Thanks,

Venkat

.... I have checked and found that even big-wigs do not have this rare beauty! .....

Venkat

Who are the big-wigs Venkat? How did you check and how did you find out? Do you send out a spyware? Did you know that I have a slightly differently coded version of the song that Kamala uploaded and I am sure zilllions of the old members who have continued to remain in this Forum must have this track stashed away somewhere, perhaps in a mobile HD like I do so that spywares do have any access to them.

Binod.

Sajdah had u/led it on her thread sometime back, and many of us had d/led it at that time rolleyes.gif

Oh, then, I must say that I was mistaken. But, still, for me, the possession of this lovely song is exciting!

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

Friends,
Take meanwhile this beautiful duet. I am sure you will get the same feeling that I got in me and on my skin as listened to this song after so many years. Can't really catch in words to express (it looses the charm if I try it), so just listen and enjoy. Do you already have it?
Singers: Rafi & Suman
Song: Meri zindagi tere (3:32, 128kbps)
Film: Jee Chahta Hai (1964)
Music: Kalyanji Anandji

Enjoy
Sanjay

Friends,

Any comments on the extreme resemblance of this song with "Tu Hind Banega Na Musalmaan Banega" from Dhool Ka Phool(1959) the MD for which is also N.Datta?

I think this is a very well known song in this Forum. Almost all members, except perhaps a few newbies, must surely have it.
