Friends,
Take this Rafi's one of the earliest songs. I guess, most of the Rafi fans have (should have) it.
I am adding this song in remembrance of 1857 uprising against British East India....rule.
My take away from this song is UNITY.
Singers: Rafi & Others
Song: Hindustaan ke hum hain (2:37, 160kbps but in reality definately lower than that)
Film: Pahle Aap (1944)
Music: Naushad

Enjoy

Friends,

Lakshmi has uploaded in her Rafi thread a very very nice Rafi-Shamshad duet from Sindbad The Sailor(1952): "Ada Se Jhoomte Huve". I heard it after many years and just loved it.

There is another Rafi-Shamshad duet from Sindbad The Sailor:

"Zindagi Sanwar Gayi, Mastiyon Se Bhar Gayi, Jab Se pyaar"---Film:Sindbad The Sailor(1952)---MD: Chitragupta--Rafi & Shamshad Begum

Could someone kindly upload this please?

Friends,

This morning at 7 A.M on Bhoole Bhisre Geet on Vividhbharati, I heard this very very nice and very very rare solo by Rafi Saab.

"Dil Ki Baazi Jeet Ke Bhi Haare, Ho Gaye Is Tarah Pyaar ke Ishare"---Film: Madan Manjari(1961)---MD:Sardar Malik---Rafi

This is indeed a very nice and lively song of Rafi Saab. Could someone please upload this?

I know, for sure, that Irfan Bhai (Sharukh5000) has this song. So, Irfan Bhai, please let it out of your bag!

Venkat
