Am deeply sorry! Won't happen again. My good intensions have backfired. Did what you requested and hopefully no more confusions.

Best of luck with requests. Do let me know if you still need the song in higher quality. Will take the trouble to find the record and upload specially if you want.

Prince

No, Dr Prince. You do not have to be sorry for your good intentions to u/l higher quality songs. A higher bitrate from a better source such as an LP, EP, other vinyl source is like a breath of fresh air, at least for a quality starved person like me.

I am sure that there is not much confusion here as made out to be. Over 95% of the HF’ers can discern a good quality u/l when they come across one and to say that u/l’g a good quality media would lead to confusion is to grossly insult their capability.

Of course, one can always come across some people who are rather territorial and possessive about the thread they have started and would like to have the final say as to what needs to be deleted or not in “their” threads. The reality is that all threads are only loaned out to each and every HF’er. They all belong to the Admins who alone have the final say and can close them down whenever they choose to do so. The only things that belong to us is what we say here.

This thread is a rather long song request thread unlike most other long threads which are initiated by people who would like to u/l and share their own passion with even complete strangers. Most song request threads are seasonal and die off as the demand for a particular song has been met. People do not try to do too much follow up and even if a demand has not been met the thread dies a natural death. One must give credit to the starter of the thread who despite having u/l’d barely half a dozen songs to date has been able to sustain this thread perennially for so long by deftly using his sales skills. Despite this even he cannot still control what people write in "his" thread if people persist in doing so. But this thread is basically a song demand thread and not a song supply thread and one could get into unnecessary controversy if one attempted to change it.

That is why for the benefit of people of this Forum who care for better quality audio media, I request you to u/l this song in one of your own threads when you do find the time. You could also start a thread on only Rafi’s LP’s. We can all take some inspiration from selfless and magnanimous people like Dharman Khan who have done some pioneer work in this area by mass u/l’g vinyl sourced songs in HF and deserve accolades again and again.

Hope to see and hear your u/l’s soon. Thanks.

Binod.

If your heart is burning so very much that this popular thread is flourishing, thanks to the umpteen Rafi Fans and despite your vilest intentions, why do you park yourself here almost half the time and keep downloading all the songs, though you must have d/led them many a time earlier? So, you should just continue doing one of the two things that you are good at: Pounce on each and every song, not only in this thread, but in all threads and download like hell, knowledge or no knowledge of the songs! And you should cut out the other thing that you are good at: Write snooty and haughty posts, because you will be exposed badly.

And don't for a moment think that your political antics cannot be seen through. For instance, before writing your first post against this thread yesterday, you have tried to take some un-Binod-like steps or precautions such as writing nice ,conciliatory posts to some people such as Ascorpio. And how nastily did you snub this very Ascorpio only the other day, when this poor newbie, unaware of rules, mentioned Anwar in Kamala Ji's thread! And it took a Shazad to point it out too!

So, next time you should do better. If necessary, consult your partners out there, you know where!

Venkat

PS1. And I am surprised that you have still not tried to tamper with the "Rating" button above, like you did the last time. But, in your ignorance, you forget one thing. "Rating" for me has just as much value as a shred of hair!

PS2. I asked you above why you park yourself here, when your heart burns at the popularity of this thread. I should not have asked because I got the answer. You park yourself here, precisely because your heart burns!

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

As there are no responses to the post reg. Qaidi (1957) and Farishta(1958), let us move forward.

DUNIYA RANG RANGEELI (1957) is one other OPN film, starring Rajendra Kumar, Johnny Walker, Chand Osmani and Shyama. This film has 4 Rafi songs, one solo and three duets with Asha.

1."Tum Se Dil Kya Lagaaya, Gaye Kaam Se, Hichaki Aane Lagi Ishq"---Duniya Rang Rangeeli(1957)---OPN--Rafi (solo)

2."Tujh Ko Na Koyi Gham, Mujh Ko Na Koyi Gham, Zaalim"---Duniya Rang Rangeeli (1957)---OPN---Rafi&Asha

3."Sainya Kyon Aaye Mujhe Angdayi, Haay Ye Kaisi Nazar"----Duniya Rang Rangeeli(1957)---OPN--Rafi&Asha

4."Woh Jo Chaahne Wale Hain Tere Sanam, Tujhe Dhoondh"----Duniya Rang Rangeeli(1957)---OPN--Rafi&Asha

Any kind uploaders, please?

Venkat

Let us sincerely move forward and request for these songs from DUNIYA RANG RANGEELI(1957)!

Venkat

Friends,

Finally, the last remaining Song No.4, "Woh Jo Chahne Wale Hain Tere Sanam, Tujhe Dhoondh Hi Lenge" was also uploaded by Myawan Ji in his thread. Here is the link and many many thanks to Myawan Ji.

5. "Main Dil Haathon Mein Laaya Hoon--Maine Kahan Miss What Is This"--- Mohd Rafi Asha Bhonsle Raja Mehdi Ali Khan O.P.Nayyar

can somone pls e-mail/upload all these song pls

Friends,

Continuing on the OPN theme, when we talk of MITTI MEIN SONA (1960), we remember only the famous Asha solo, "Poocho Na Hamhe Ham Un Ke Liye", the great Piano melody of OPN.

But, there are in this film 5 Rafi-Asha duets, as per the above list, all of which are less known and heard. But, I do remember the Songs nos. 1 and 2, from my Vivdhbharati legacy.

Now, these 5 duets are not even available in the 3500-strong collection Rafi Saab's songs of Yusuf Ji, which I take as a very good benchmark.

But, I hope that either of the Mahesh-duo (the OPN experts of HF!) or CM2 saab may have at least some of these. Or, even Kamala Ji may surprise us!

I would request them to consider uploading these.

Thanks,

Venkat

Haneef Ji,

Thanks for this song. But, this is a Rafi Saab solo and also from his voice, it appears to belong to the period after 1969 and Seventies.

Our song from Mitti Mein Sona is a Rafi-Asha duet of 1960.

But, anyway, nice to hear an unknown song.

Venkat

It means that I have lost the original upload somewhere on my Pc, sad.gif
but since I religiously burn all the downloaded songs in Itunes to sync them into my Ipod. rolleyes.gif
I can always trust my downloaded song is present there atleast.
I use an Internal Recording Software to record any song playing on my Pc internally,
There is atleast a few seconds delay in the begining of the song and if you hear it carefully there is a very small click at the end of the song, & all the songs are in 128 kbps.
