Friends,
I sincerely thank Hamaraprince Ji for his nice uploads and also for the utmost sense of maturity with which he acceded to my request.

hamaraprince:

Here are two more songs of Mohd Rafi saab, One from the year 1945 and the other is from the year 1980.(What an age gap!) Details are as follows:

1) Jhoot Hai Dharbaron Ki Duniya - Mohd Rafi (1945- No Information on this-Sorry!)

2) Janu Meri Jaan - Mohd Rafi, Asha Bhonsle, Kishore Kumar, Usha Mangeshkar & Others (Lyrics: Anand Bakshi - Music: R.D.Burman - Film: Shaan - 1980)

Both Tracks in Mp3@128Kbps

Hamaraprince Ji,

Thanks for this real rare diamond, "Jhoot Hai Dharbaron Ki Duniya"! Yeh HF Mein Ek Se Badh Kar Ek Hain! Keep it up.

Venkat

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

Friends,

Going next on OPN's musicals, QAIDI (1957) has two Rafi-Asha Duets:

1."Yun Muskura Ke Saamne Aaya Na keejiye, Dil Leke Mere"---Rafi & Asha---OPN

2."Chhaya Hai Sama Hai, Mera Dil Hai Jawan, Sainya Dil Mein"---Rafi & Asha----OPN

Could someone kindly upload these two seemingly rare songs?

Thanks,

Venkat

Anyone having these Qaidi (1957) songs, please?

Thank you very much, Kamala Ji. I can see that your own collection, other than through HF, is by itself very impressive!

I am giving here a link to this song from Qaidi (1957).

Friends,
No intenton of interupting anybody's song requests.
Adding a beautiful duet (I believe an unreleased song) by Rafi sahab and Ashaji.
This duet will definately remind you of some other songs/tunes (I leave it to you to scratch your heads. Don't worry it will not be very difficult to know.....small hint.... Nai Umar Ki..... The other song will be difficult to find, but let us see....).
Singers: Rafi & Asha
Song: Kitna rangeen hai yeh chaand (4:00, 128kbps)
Film: Unreleased (?)
Lyrics: Indivar
Music: N Dutta

Enjoy
Sanjay

Sanjkash Ji,

Thanks for this nice Rafi-Asha duet.

It resembles "Aaj Ki Raat Badi Shokh Badi Nathkhat Hai" by Rafi-Asha from Nai Umar Ki Nai Fasal (Roshan) and also "Hum Ne Dekhi Hai Un Ankhon Ki Mehak" by Lata from Khamoshi (Hemant Kumar). Do I get full marks?

Haneef Ji,

Regarding Qaidi (1957), I knew the "Yun Muskura Ke Samne" song earlier through Radio. But, the other song, "Chhaya Hai Sama Hai", could be located by me in Janab Saleem-ul-Haq's book.

Meanwhile, let us see if someone would upload your requests from Film: Pickpocket (1962)---MD:Sardar Malik.

Venkat

Here are 2 Famous & 1 Rare songs Of Mohd Rafi Saab as my contribution for today.

Yeh aankh kaisi hai is a duet with Lata Mangeshkar from the movie Piya Ka Ghar which was released in 1971, Whilst Mai Ek Raaja is a solo song from the movie Uphaar released also in 1971. Both songs are under the music direction of Laxmikant Pyarelal, Whilst the lyrics are given by Anand Bakshi for both of the songs. However, the third song ie: "Nahin Hai Khabar" is more rare of which I have no information.
