My modus operandi of enjoying old songs has been just to listen to Vividhbharati or Radio Ceylon earlier. 2. But, in that method, I was not getting to hear some of my rare favorites (real nice ones, mostly of lesser known MDs) for years together, as VB was not airing them at all or not airing them when I am listening. Let me confide that I became a member of HFM precisely to acquire all those songs that I was missing. In fact, I became a member of HFM at a time when new registrations were stopped and Pradeep Ji gave me a special permission (based, of course, on payment only), because he knew me through my write-ups on mohdrafi.com. 3. Thus, in the last 5/6 months, I had requested in this thread over 400 songs and got all of them except 5 or 6. If you remember, one of these, "Jaane Meri Aankhiyone Dekha Hai Kya" from Pyaar Ki Jeet (Sudheer Phadke--Rafi/Asha) was uploaded by Bobby Mudgel as a 25 second clip. I am yet to get the full song! 4. Now this new request, namely ""Tu Ne Teri Nazar Ne To kaaphir Bana Diya, Hans Kar Rula"----Film:Fariyad(1964)----MD:Snehal Bhatkar----Rafi & Mubarak Begum, is one of these 5 or 6 that I have talked of. Kindly upload it if you have it. 5. Let me also confide that I download mostly (90%) only the songs uploaded on my thread at my request. The other 10%, I download from the great threads such as yours, Sajdaji's, Myawan's, Kamala's and others', that too after trying to verify whether they would be to my liking. 6. One more thing. I am the type of person who wishes to upload only upon specific requests. Needless to say, I will gladly upload the 400+ songs that I now have, if anyone requests specifically.
