Friends,

Could someone kindly upload this duet for me? "Aap Ka Chehra Masha Allah, Zulf Ka"---Film:Rootha Na Karo---MD:C.Ramachandra---Rafi & Asha.

Thanks,

Venkat

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

Thank you, Kamala Ji, for the Aap Ka Chehra song.

Could you also upload this highly philosophical song written by Sahir: "Jiyo To Aise Jiyo Jaise Sab Tumhara Hai, Maro To Aise Ke Jaise Tumhara Kuch Bhi Nahin"---Film:Bahu Beti----MD:Ravi. Rafi Saab had sung this and indeed practised it!

Thanks,

Venkat

Venkat ji, perhaps you'll like this one too. Uploaded on Faizel sahab's thread.

"Mere Dil Mein Aane Wale" (in the voices of Rafi sahab and Asha ji ) from the movie Bhai Bhai.
Music - Madanmohan

Thanks, Sajdah Ji, for taking me to this nice duet. I knew this nice song earlier but did not have it with me. So, thanks once again. The film is Bhai Bhai or Baap Bete?

Venkat

ohmy.gif Oh how very, very careless of me! Thanks for pointing it out, Venkat ji.
The correct info is Baap Bete as everyone would know.

I was listening to a track from Bhai Bhai ( Madanmohan), and that somehow explains how i could have trailed off.

Fortunately it's all in the family, wouldn't you agree? tongue1.gif

Oh, and i am glad you found another of your favourites.
Do take a look at some of the new u/l's on Auld Lang Syne too - just a guess, but you might like some of them.

Friends,

This morning, after many years, I had happened to listen to this rare and extremely nice song on "Bhoole Bhisre Geet" on my favorite Vividhbharati station:

"Tu Ne Teri Nazar Ne To kaaphir Bana Diya, Hans Kar Rula"----Film:Fariyad(1964)----MD:Snehal Bhatkar----Rafi & Mubarak Begum

Could someone kindly upload this for me?

Incidentally, the more familiar Rafi-Suman duet, Aap Ne Huzoor Mujhe--Meherbaani Meherbaani, is also from this same film, Fariyad.

Awaiting an upload,

Venkat

PS. The requested song is indeed a very rare song. Hence, I request all the Rafi seniors to help me out in procuring this.

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!
