The www contains such a theory, but I very much doubt whether it is true!!

As I know, the first songs of Rafi Saab for any Telugu Film were for Bhakta Ramadasu, produced by V.Nagayya. But these were Hindi/Urdu songs in that Telugu Film! The very first Telugu songs for a Telugu movie, by Rafi Saab, were in Bhale Tammudu!

I definitely know that Rafi has sung the song in padandi munduku. INfact i watched that song in doordarshan some 15-20 years back.

I got it confirmed with many oldtimers. May be we have to check it with people like V A K Ranga rao
