I do not know how many of you have this song and how many have actually played and heard this song, even if you have!!!

The song is :"Falak Bola Khuda Ke Noor Ka Main Aashaina Hoon" from Film:Khuda Ka Banda(1957)--MD:S.N.Tripathi.

Incidentally, S.N.Tripathi, surprisingly for his background, has been the MD of many Isalmic Films such as Hatim Tai, this Khuda Ka Banda, etc. Just as Rafi Saab had sung countless Hindu devotional songs, the greatest of them (Hari Om) being in association with Naushad Ji and Shakeel Badayuni!!!

A testimony to the strong and genuine secularism that existed in Hindi Film Industry during the 50's and 60's!

Now, coming back to this Falak Bola song from Khuda Ka Banda(1957), this song is a dialogue between 'the Sky' and 'the Earth'. Between Falak and Zameen!!! What great lyrics by Shvan Rizvi and what great rendition by Rafi Saab!

Not just the Bas Dekh Liya bit Venkatji! If you listen to the song till the very end, you will hear the whole line that you mentioned.

Dil Deke Humein Kuchh Bhi Na Mila Beqaar Hue Badnaam, Bas Dekh Liya Anjaam - this exact line is there in the last verse of the song I uploaded.
