Praks, many thanks for these two uploads, both of which are nice and relatively rare. Actually, the "Mast Nazar Ki Kataar" song from Sehra(1963) appears to be the forerunner for some of the similar SJ-Rafi songs of 1966 and later!

Shravan, many thanks for this very nice Rafi solo from Barsaat. One of the very few songs Rafi Saab had sung for Raj kapoor. Jaikishan once said that as this was SJ's first Film, they were very nervous with Rafi Saab during this song's recording, but Rafi Saab had put them completely at ease!

I only have a 3.12 minutes audio and a 3.13 minutes video-audio rip, Venkat bhai. I do not know if this is an extended version. If it is film version -- yes I have that one.

Thanks Kamala jee for the song.

Inspired by this song Anu Malik has given one song too in movie Sangarsh staring Akshay and pretty. Song was sung by sonu nigham. song was like

mujhay raat din bas mujhay chahti hoon.


But you can see this song is far far far better than the new one in my opinion. Though I like sonu songs too. But original is original.

Many sincere thanks for this song, Kamala Ji. This song shows what a great 'stylist' Rafi Saab was! Look at the meticulously controlled voice he adopts here! I remember, during my teens, many females who used to ask me to play this song again and again. They used to find this song irresistible!

All of you will be surprised that this song of Rafi Saab was copied, in toto, for a famous mythological Telugu Film, Sri Krishna Tulabharam. NTR, playing Sri Krishna, sings this Telugu song to appease an angry Satya Bhama, played by Jamuna!

Rafi Saab puts in all his versatility in this song!

I know for sure that this song is available in the HF system, but is refusing to come out!

I request one of those 2 or 3 possessors (Maheshks Ji included) to kindly let out this very nice and rare song.
