Friends,

Sajjad Hussein is a great Music Director and has composed some ever-lasting songs.

With Rafi Saab, according to chroniclers, he had composed just 5 solos, 2 duets and 2 group songs.

The two group songs, both of which are simply superb, are known to me. 1."Phir Tumhari Yaad Aayi Ae Sanam" from Film:Rustom Sohraab(1963) sung by Rafi Saab, Manna Dey and Sadat Khan and 2. "Toot Gaya Haaye Toot Gaya" from Film:Maghroor(1950) sung by Rafi Saab, Shamshad and Raaj Kumari.

The 5 solos are:1."Teer Pe Teer Khaaye Ja" from Film:Roop Lekha (1949), 2."Us Paar Is Deewr Ke Jo Rehte Hain" from Film:Saiyan(1951), and 2 solos from Film:Aakhri Sajda(1977) and 1 solo from a Film called Mera Shikaar(1973).

There are said to be two duets, both of which I do not know! Need some help from the Pundits like Maheshks Ji and Mirsa Ji!

So today, can someone kindly upload the following two solos from the Film:Aakhri Sajda(1977)?

I love the way Rafi Saab sings the "Kasammmmmm" part (or its equivalent in the Mukhda's variations!) in the Mukhda!

The quest for these Rare Diamonds of Rafi Saab is never ending. Today, I happened to hear on Radio a very nice Rafi solo. In fact, it is also the typical, lone Rafi song that Shankar Jaikishan normally score in almost every Raj Kapoor film!
