My cassette says 1985, bahut saalon ke baad pichle mahina mila original cassette (had naqli previously and even that had been lost for over 11 years), I love this album, thanks for a vinyl rip of this song and also thanks for Khazana song. And yes I had uploaded the Captain Barry song from the soundtrack cassette, but maybe yours is vinyl? smile.gif

Well said brother, you defined Anwar Sahab's singing qualties and abilities so nicely. I totally agree with you and this is the voice of my heart.

Not only Rafi Sahab but Manna Day also said in an interview that Anwar is the best singer amongst others of that era.

The question is arises here...."Why people (except Anwar Fans) did not do justification with this great singer???"

IMO this is first time on web tht a Anwar fans have got a forum for discussion etc.

Though I started as Shabbir fan but for me Anwar was better then him. but problem is that Anwar saab couldnt sing lot of songs on the other hand Shabbir got lots of songs from LP, BL etc. thats why Quantitywise I listen to lot of Shabbir songs.....mostly of 80s- early 90 period.

one more reason : I grew up in late 80s and 90 when there were lot of shabbir songs !

Request to Anwar fans..: Since we got a forum for Anwar saab, now we shd make it a point to discuss songs of Anwar saab . Those who are regular shd write more on his songs ! ( I knw I might be among least posters :-( )

I Didnt knew the exact Rafi comment. What I had heard abt him was that Rafi saab liked his voice. thats why I started liking him more.
