In keeping with the purpose of this forum as a tribute to the Legends of Hindi Film Music, this thread is devoted to nostalgic songs of Asha-ji.

My contribution to this thread is in the form of better sound-quality tracks of those melodious old songs with which 'Kachha Dhaaga' started in the Asha Bhosle forum.

All tracks are at 128 kbps, sound-edited and set to the 'default' volume level of Musicmatch. The song tags commence with the year of the movie, so that we can file the tracks in chronological order.

This tandem tune is famous in the voice of Talat Mahmood, and the version by Asha-ji is relatively less-heard:

It was recorded from the audio album and not from the soundtrack.

To file it chronologically --- according to Ultraindia filmography, the year of the film was 1957.

Film ' Mr.X - MD N.Dutta

Reminds me of another Kitna Haseen Hai Jahan song by Asha Bhonsle, in Humsaaya (1968) a typical OPN number.
Thanks for the u/ls.
