This song is in the Song Library. (As I recollect, I had obtained it from the internet). Hopefully this upload will be of a better quality.

Manish:

It is my pleasure. But just curious: did something go wrong with the earler ones?

Here's the REPEAT UPLOAD of: "Aaj bhi unki mohabbat"

Manish:

I was amazed to see the remarkably high number of downloads of those non-film ghazals of Mukesh-ji. For my enlightenment, would you let me know what was remarkable about them, particularly the last one of which here is the REPEAT UPLOAD.

Hi Unni,

I was wondering if you have the complete versions of Mukesh's songs in "Anand". There is a third stanza in "Maine tere liye" that goes ...."roothi raatein...roothi hui raaton ko manaya kabhi...", and a 3rd stanza in "Kabhi door jab din dhal jaaye" . It's not available in cassettes, but is seen in the DVD.

Also wanted to complement you on the awesome songs you've been uploading and the great discussions you've been involved in.

Thanks

Here's a Mukesh solo in two parts from the 1970 film "PRIYA", with music by Kalyanji-Anandji:

Two lovely solos of Mukesh-ji, not usually found in compilations of his most popular songs:

(Film: "BEGANA" / Music: Sapan Jagmohan)

(Film: "TANGEWALA" / Music: Naushad)

I suppose this would qualify as a rare song. A duet with Lata-ji in the film "MEM DIDI" (1961), music by Salil Chowdhury:

Where I live, some the most intelligent programing on American television appears on Public Television stations. These stations are not supported by advertising revenue or government funds, just by membership support.

Hence, from time to time, these stations have to appeal to the viewers for their support. The stations present particularly appealing programs on those special occasions when they conduct fund-raisers, to ensure they attract maximum viewing.

Whereas at HF, on a daily basis, we try to offer what appeals to our entire membership, with discussions, educational information, news articles, humour, art, music, photographs, etc.
