A far cry from the Asha-ji epitomized in the "cabaret" songs picturized on Helen. If one asks, "What makes a good song"?: Appealing tune, eloquent lyrics, movingl rendition. The last song of this album, and arguably the best.

Thanks for the songs. In the last 2 days I was busy uploading--with a tele modem in India it takes so much time--grrrr--did not get much time to dl the songs or reply. Maafi chahte hain.

This U/L will appeal only to die-hard fans of Asha-ji. But it is being uploaded for two reasons. One, her spoken voice prefaces the track. And two, for sheer sake of nostalgia.

Darn it, even the song is younger than I am!
