This was either a remake of the Tamil film Vanjikottai Vaaliban (1958) or probably a simultaneous production considering its directed by SS Vasan. The tamil film also has C Ramachandra as its MD.
The dance sequence between Padmini and Vyjayanthi is one of the highlights of the film !
Singers in Tamil are Jikki and P Leela.

Unni!! I was going thru the VN database on Asha ji songs.. and I find Maya Bazaar MD is Chitragupt and not SH Bihari as you have stated.

Priyz..kahan ho tum.. were u able to locate the others songs in the db re??? I am concurrently entering the data as I download the songs hairpull.gif

Cant seem to find these sad1.gif There are 3 MB songs with Rafi sahab wunly!!!!!!!!!! Ek aur Maya Bazaar film hai lekin that is 1984 wala film hai!!

Plz clarify one of you!

Me did not check database. Me found songs and pocketed them. biggrin.gif

Abhi check kar liya to ya MD is Chitragupta. Unni has listed it as SN Tripathi not SH Bihari. Bihariji is a lyricist. tongue.gif The solos are very much there. Page 32 of VN book. 4 solos:
