The song starts off with the wordings you mention and then cuts to the following song at about 30 sec - "Khaamosh Zamaana Hai Aa Jaao Tumhen" (which is also from Heer, my records say)

In the movie, the sequence starts with "Gham Lekey Terey Ishq Ka" as a song in the background, followed by dialogue, then continues as the song "Khamosh Zamaana Hai". Wonder if there is a full version of the former or just the few lines that feature on the disc of the film.
