4. TeraTeerHoBePeer - Shararat - not familiar with this one.

Galati ho gayi aapse. The song being requested was a Lata solo from
"Meri soorat teri aaNkheN" which goes "Tere khayaaloN me, tere hi khaaboN
me, din jaaye rain na jaaye".
The song that you uploaded is an Asha solo from "Geet gaaya pathharoN ne".
Lovely song, no doubt. But .....

I wanted this one so bad, I heard it right away... and guess what...!!!!!!! This is the one that comes to mind when you hear "tere khayalon mein"... it isn't the Madhur One; albeit a lovely song.

Now that was TOTALLY uncalled for.
It is not really a matter of perspective when wondering if either of
the sisters is "madhur". They are. Unequivocally.
One can prefer one over the other, but to put down one over the
other is quite unnecessary. And more-over not what I would have
expected from T-ji based on all the mediation she has done on
other fronts.

Zippo ji's been uploading Lata ji's "Madhur" songs... and it was a reference to that, though I do see how it could be misunderstood. You know, isn't it just possible to give the person you know to be moderate a benefit of the doubt without her having to explain? A matter of trust as it were... ??? Maybe the medium precludes that, anyways, will be very careful the next time I say something, or I'll stop saying it altogether!

a. I did think that your reference was to the "madhur" thread v/s the "madhur" voice.
b. The medium does perpetrate the possibilities of misunderstanding.
c. Trust and presumption of innocence are far more valid in one-on-one conversations be they in person or via e-mail. On a wider forum such as this one, it is harder.

Knowing full well that your intentions were non-inflammatory, what I was really
angling for was your clarification in the forum.

I was waiting for Talaikya Ji to respond first because it was appropriate. I also took her "Madhur" characterization in the exact same spirit as she has stated. Just for the record, both Lata-ji and Asha-ji have accomplishments that put them beyond comparisons by mere mortals like me.

sangeetbhakt Ji, you bring a lot of joy to my world by all your contributions here.

But T-ji, you do realize that it cuts both ways. Others can needle without
feeling apologetic as well.
