A classic from the RDB/Lata combination, from his first movie as Music Director.

This song has featured a few times before in the forum. This track is from the disc of the film.

Here are the four not so commonly available Lata solos from the film Badshah (1954) with music by Shankar Jaikishan.

The quality isn't the clearest, but since these are rare, it will be nice to have them in your collection.

Here are the four tracks:

Tum Aankhen Churaao To Kya
Lyrics: Hasrat Jaipuri

Jab Pal Bhar Chain Na Paoon
Lyrics: Hasrat Jaipuri

Gul Muskura Utha
Lyrics: Shailendra

Le Gaya Le Gaya
Lyrics: Hasrat Jaipuri

The film contained this short sad version of "Mein Tumhi Se Poochti Hoon":

Thank you so much for this rare treat. Had been looking for the Badshah songs for a while.

Unni thanks for your numerous rare u/ds, especially the Mud Mud Ke Na Dekh and Maa Beta albums.

For you Badshahji -

Bhabhi ki chudiyan - 1961, Sudhir Phadke, Pt. Narendra Sharma.

1. The inspirational/ serene Jyoti Kalash Chhalke - 4:48 mins @ 128 courtesy : SanjayS
Not the best sound, but the full version.
I need to listen to this one some 4-5 times before I begin to get my fill of it.

2. Lau lagati geet gaati - 3:03 mins @ 128 courtesy : Jamal
Original upload was in wma, if anyone wants that I can upload that too.
This gem would have remained buried in my "unorganised" folder had you not asked for it U ji, so... thank you!

Thanks a ton! bow.gif

Just downloaded them. Gotta listen to them.

Got the film disc of the movie, just for the songs, but terribly disappointed with the skipping tracks. But having heard them in bits, missed them. sad.gif
