Here's a DVD rip of "Shama Jali Parwana Aaya". The DVD had 9 songs and did not contain the second song.

orchestration style and Rafi's voice suggest that the song is from the 50s.
But I am not able to find any further information on it.

So, our best bet is that someone who has heard this early 50s song comes forward with the details. Cine, do you have any idea? I'm gonna add this to my fill in the ?'s thread.

I am not sure of the name of the film.

I checked. The only Ashok Kumar film in 1949 seems to be "Mahal" and this
song is not from that film. I expanded my search to include 1950 and could
not find it there either sad1.gif

i HOPE I COULD BE 100% ON THIS BUT I AM NOT, THE MOVIE COULD ACTUALLY BE "KIRAN'.

I will try to seek songs of this movie when i go for holidays.
