Catch,
I don't know from which source you got that "kya miliye" is from Naya Zamana, but it IS wrong. The song is from Izzat, *ing Dharmendra, Balraj Sahni (in a rare negative role), Laxmi Chhaya. I saw the movie a long time back. Dharmendra sings this song (with heavy sarcasm, as you may infer from the lyrics) at a party celebrating Balraj Sahni "as a person with morals". Still, if you want to believe it is from Naya Zamana, well, it's a Rafi song and that is all that should matter. Yatri Sangeet = Nirvana

Yatri Ji,
Thanks for the clarification. My apologies. "The moment we want to believe something, we suddenly see all the arguments for it, and become blind to the arguments against it."

No sorry, no thanks Catch,
I did slip up too. One, the lead actress was Tanuja (remember "Ye dil tum bin kahin lagta nahin" from the same movie"). And the second lead is not Laxmi Chhaya, it is Jaylalitha!! Now this one is for more knowledgables - Am I right in guessing that the same person is currently fulfilling the role as the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu? (If yes, WOW. Could one have predicted the half-sari clad oomph girl lipsyncing to Lata's "Jaagi badan mein jwaala, saiyyan tuney kya kar dalaa" would one day be a CM garbed in the most unglamorous outfit.) Unniji, our resident memories database, (to maul Shakespere) any inputeth from thy treasures comingeth? Yatri Sangeet = Nirvana

Now I haveto jump into this discussion , unless its already accepted ke its from movie Ijzat. Well what happens is , this darker complexion Dharmendra reaches Balraj Sahani's house and her daughter is celebrating her birthday , at that time she misunderstood him for his other brother ( Dharmendra is in Double role , one with white complexion and other is dark complexion) .... and than she insist him to sing ... and I very much remember what a song to sing on birthday .. kya miliye aise logo se... and above all the most funny part is all the people attending party is also dancing on the tune of this song.. I found it very very silly and un-appropiate to the picturization of the song.....
