Some of the songs I've felt most proud to upload have been scratchy tracks with skips, sound distortion, etc. --- yet extremely happy to have acquired the rare track after a long, long time.

The last time I heard this song was several decades ago, when it was played on the radio, perhaps during the holy month of fasting. I remember being touched by the simple story of the little boy who insisted on observing roza and his small body succumbing to the demands of fasting.

I assumed it was a private recording, but apparently not.

Recently there was a request for this song (humble_rafi?).

Sorry for the sound quality. Hope we find a better track.

I'll first upload it in 96 kbps in this post, and then in 128 kbps in the next.

Unni ji, I think I have this version of the song on a cassette. I'll have to listen to this upload to be sure. Apparently there are two or three versions of this same story in Rafi sahab's voice. I think I might have one more version with me somewhere. I'll upload that as well when I find it. I'll remove the noise from my versionof this upload and then upload it in the "Rafi sahab's Islamic songs" thread.

Oh, another thing unni ji....... There is a request for a Rafi-Asha song in that thread (in the couple of last posts). If you haven't already seen them, would you please find some time? I think you might have that song :)
