Amongst all the many many types of lists that we did about Kishoreda, why not add one more. Subject, as indicated in the topic, same song/same move/in 2 diff versions. Guru songs only (obviously), to start off:
1) Yeh dosti (Sholay) 2) Bhole o bhole (Yaraana) ...........who's next? |

I guess the best example would be Satte Pe Satta..,
Same song, 2 diff moods in the same song.., diff in beginning .., changes halfway completely.., yep u guessed it right.., Pyar Humein Kis mod pe le aaya. should be many more.. Jai Gurudev! |

Correct Sharad, 'O saathi re' was first sung by Asha. I meant something like Satya mentioned (Satte Pe Satta), same movie, same song, some singer (Kishoreda) but in two diff moods.
Chitralekha's example reminded me of another such male+female version of the same song from Sanam Teri Kasam. First Kishoreda sings 'Kitne bhi tu karle sitam', then Asha B (u wanna guess who takes the cake, o c'mon!!!). For the same reason, 'Tumbin jaaoon kahan' doesn't qualify (same song alright, but 2 diff singers). BOTH VERSIONS MUST BE BY KISHOREDA. |

My fav. in this category in "Har koi chahta hai ik mutthi aasmaan"..
How well the moments of loneliness, togetherness, anger, frustration, happiness, philosophy, and Hope are woven in just one song... so many songs for the price of one... great lyrics by indivar, fantastic composition of Madan mohan and soulful rendering of Kishore da puts it in the league of all time best... -P1J |
