It was an interesting experience. This aunt and uncle are the richies of our family. Hard working couple now enjoying the fruits of their labour. My aunt loves this Bailey's stuff and so got it from abroad. She offered my mom and me a bit in the tiniest wine glasses U could think of. Her mom-in-law sat by looking stern and disapproving. Wanton women drinking!!! mad.gif Wahan her 19 year old grandson was having his second glass of whiskey ( blab.gif ) and the 17 year old grandson was swigging beer straight from the bottle (ek poora bottle!!) and she kept asking us women: 'are U feeling giddy, do U feel faint, do U wish to lie down' ? headbang.gif

PS: I think this discussion is missing a great connoisseur tongue.gif

Na me hasn't tasted any other of these funny concoctions. My aunt suggested some almond thingy or this but when could I ever resist chocolate!!! biggrin.gif

As a kid tasted several horrid drinks. Family gatherings hote the to the men of the family seemed to think it a great treat to abjure food and sit with drinks late into the night!!! doh.gif Me used to taste stuff from my dad or grandad's glass. Brandy, whiskey, rum sab taste kiye. All yucky. Have tasted wine in Catholic weddings. Woh theek hai. If sweet. But so heavy.

I still proclaim--nothing nicer than Cold Coffee!!!!! clap1.gif

Wines are made of fruit. look.gif
But there's another concoction popularly called 'fruit wine', which has no or negligible alcoholic content.
