Hi all,

I am looking for some real good karaoke cassets / CDs of Kishore Kumar songs. I already have some but they are either in improper pitch or not matching with original song meter. So it's not so enjoyable to sing with these cassets. Can anyone give some info about it.

I had (I have lost also) two karaoke songs which I got in a casset where there were 8 Kk songs sung by Abhijit. But I baught this casset because of the two karaoke track (Anewala pal and o mere dil ke chain). These two are the best karaoke I have ever come across. Can anyone share these two tracks if available. I have searched for the casset again but didnt get it.

Thank u very much for the list & two uploads. But these are not the tracks what I wanted. I actually wanted the two karaoke tracks which VENUS (IIRC) had added (side A O mere dil ke chain & Side B Anewala pal) in an album of Abhijit. If u get those just match with other Karaoke tracks. U will see the difference.

I need some tracks from your list. Will tell u later after checking with my existing tracks.

About the availability of Karaoke cds, I typically buy them online. The one's made by Aniruddha are closest to the original. As far I know, the karaoke tracks have to be diff (atleast a little) in terms of arrangement/ scale if they are not released by the music company that released the original music of that song.

Thanks Azgar for "Manzilein Apni Jagah". BTW, as it seems you are an expert in Karaoke I have some quiries about Karaoke recording. Can you give some idea about what should be track volume & what should be microphone volume while singing karaoke.

Jagdish, definitely karaoke can't match the original quality.....& I agree with it & I never expect otherway. But scale & meter (like how many times STHAI is sung, repeat of stanza etc) can be maintained if arranger is well aware of the song. Unfortunately I have found only those two numbers (which I mentioned in my earlier post) close to perfection.

Can u little explain about your karaoke track's qualities...

I have 3 karaoke cds all of KishoreDa. One is made by Aniruddha.. It's pretty good. There's one more (by someone else) that is very good too. However, there was a Karaoke meet last mont in Houston where I performed. I learnt there that those made by Aniruddha are by far the best.
I do feel that they are close to the original songs consistently, except at a few places...
