Sajjad, I do follow u'r thread from time to time but may be guilty of not acknowleding it. I have listen to and d/l some of the songs. I am another lucky one who had oppurtinty to see Rafi -saab, Mukeshji, Talatji live at different times. Experience of life time to see the legends to say the least. Appreciate your u/l. Ramesh  No Problem Bo$$  I didn't get the chance to see Mukesh\Talat:-( I was still in India when Mukesh passed away...As with Talat, i could not go to the concert because of my job:-( They didn't let me take the day off on Saturday night. I did see Lata (twice), Asha and Kishore from close distance!Attached image(s)

Thanks again! My official language is Dutch ( from Holland ) But with my mam and Dad i speaks Sarnami... a little bit hindi. I can understand a little bit Hindi and also Urdu... because of indian Movies Because our grandparents leaves India since 1863 ... They call the area Bihar. Do you know this Area... ? |

sajjad Bhai, I love ghazals and Rafi Saab movie songs.............I want to know everything about him... Because of my Work ( IT) i have a lot Indian and also pakistani colleague( IT Information Technology ) from india. ( There Knowledge ,tolerated and perseverance is Great! They are sometimes my mobile dictionary! I bought also a urdu dictionary, and use Babylon ( application Language Translation) With voice translation. I have to do a lot for music , thats fine.... I love brokenheart ghazals and also Rafi Saab brokenheart songs.............????? I heard that first emmigration of indian citizen was Mauritius, and Next my country Suriname. We have +/- 200.000 muslim and hindu inhabitants. Our neigbourcountry is Brazil. My Dad can read and write hindi. 2 weeks ago Jagjit Singh visited Suriname 2 concert. In Suriname we have many hindi schools. Thanks a lot for interest , i like this... Bye, |

I work on Client Server applications. Also, i do have an extensive Mainframe experience! Not only, we are both same age, but we r in the same fields....Weird ha??? I can't read or write Urdu, but my vocabulary is quite good:-) I have been collecting music (songs\Ghazals) for 28 years. Yes, i do have a good collection of Indian Music. Most of my collection is on cassettes. I don't know how to convert it to MP3 format. I'm originally from Hyderabad India, but we migrated to Canada then to USA in 1978. My wife is a Canadian - Indian Orgin:-) She was a baby when her family moved to Canada. Yes, i also do like Sad songs\ghazals. I am not too crazy abt Jagjit....I prefer Mehdi Hassan! IMHO, Jagjit's ghazals r elevator type music:-) I hope, u r not fan of his:-) I only like few ghazals of his and his wife....What sort of programming lang. do u write at work? Currently, i have been assigned to re-write the C\UNIX server to Java\WebLogic. I am learning this technology on my own. Its quite a challenge for me:-( Attached image(s)

sksiddiqui bhai, i am a cisco engineer. 11 years for Getronics and since the last 4 years for dutch government. I also like Unix and windows 2003. I think i have good knowledge about them. Technical part is my challenge. But in my career i never meet a hindustani women in my company as engineer on this level. Thats very sorry.... Thank you very much for your interest. Mrs. Fayz |
