The Dance competition video-clip played in Winamp, Windows Media Player and in Nero. Didn't try RealPlayer and QuckTime, but bet they will also play it.

That's good news Divz. Not that I have changed anything.

Here's the 3rd dance (Vyjanthimala) from Amrapali - this is heartbreak, frustration, anger; orchestrated, performed and emoted so well.

No one told me that they'd be interested in a non- Vyjanthi dance from this movie (see post 6), hence I'll pass on it for now.

the next one I have coming up here might be a surprise to some, was definitely to me the first time I saw it laugh.gif

To get back to the present however - this one's a much smaller file - in two parts wunly (how many relieved sighs did I just hear??)

For a change - Vyjanthimala's the one looking on!! I didn't know dancing was one of the skills Dilip Kumar possessed. This one was a really pleasant surprise.

Yes, Tji. The dance steps in Nain Lad Jai Hai are good. In fact I was thinking of this song today morning to revive that 'antara' waala thread from cold storage !! smile.gif Now looks like I'll have to keep it on hold for sometime ! angry.gif

Some pictures to replace the 1000 words. This is one of my all time favorites in terms of film, actress and dancer, song. Guide is a must see must have film imho. This song depicts her rise to stardom, the 4 plus verses are indicative of that as each one goes on to more elaborate and sophisticated sets/ costumes. It's avi, but you gotta have the divx encoder (hope I am using the right terms) to play it. Divz had the same problem initially Nimz, but it worked eventually for her. The latest windows media player should do the trick I am told.

Marci: Pradeep taught me re!! He told me to use vcd gear to make it into mpg and then convert mpg to wmv using windows media encoder.. Aaj hi seekhi.. rolleyes.gif

This one's for Shivani. Vyjanthimala looks positively ethreal in this one. I have always wondered, was she ever criticised for her attire in this movie? Those days she must've caused quite a stir.
