All that talk of being 17 and young lovers did bring to mind Dimple, Rishi Kapoor and Bobby immediately. They had such chemistry in that movie to my youthful mind, I was one of those that hated Kaka marrying her, not because I was his fan but because he broke up Rishi and Dimple or any future they might have had. Since then they did Saagar and recently a middle aged love story - Pyar mein twist. As is usual with most Hindi films of late, a good concept, not handled too well, but Dimple looks lovely even middle aged sigh.gif Not as beautiful as in say Saagar, for youth has a glow that's hard to compensate for but still... Did they pair up in anything else?

I was torn between Hum tum ek kamre mein band ho and this one, but since Marc uploaded one, let me upload the other. They are both heart breakingly young and as was the norm in RK movies the cinematography (in Hum Tum) is divine... but the hot pants (again in Hum Tum) definitely are a no no. Rishi is very cute and Dimple a gawky promising teen... over to Madhz and/or Nimz and/or anyone else that has anything to share smile.gif

I had trouble with the uploads this time, someone please confirm all is well... thank you.

Thanks Marc and Tji. Tji, you are right, Dimple and Rishi Kapoor look so ridiculously young in the movie.

Hum tum ek jangal se guzren...aur sher aa jaye. Sher se main kahoon tumko chhod de...mujhe khaa jaye...and Dimple takes off her sarong for whatever reason before sacrificing herself to the "Bagh" not sher by the way. Youthful imagination and the exaggerated sense of the dramatic, quite effectively, maybe inadvertantly captured in the sequence. Quite ridiculous really, and yet makes one smile indulgently. Cannot believe Rishi Kapoor agreed to appear in an all pink suit complementing Dimple's darker pink in the song. Dimple's clothes had set a trend when the film was released. Bobby skirts, Bobby clips... cool.gif
