Can somebody please upload the foll duets again??

Tum meri ho mere siva----Aan Baan
Na rutho na rutho meri jaan-------Jawan Muhobbat.

Great thread Prince Bhai. SJ like LP had a very special relationship with Rafi Sahab, and it comes out through their songs together.

Can some kind soul upload Rafi's songs from an early SJ musical score, Pooja released in 1954. This movie had a beautiful score by the renown duo with memorable Rafi songs such as "Chal Chal Re Musafir Chal", "Jo Ik Baar Keh Do (Happy version and Sad Version)" "Soch Na Manwa", "Holi Aayi Pyari Pyari (Duet with Lata) and Rumjhum Ke Bajaao Bansuri (Classical song with Master Krishna Rao).

Thanks

Pradeep

Prince Ali sahab - i just chanced on this thread - it's wonderful. I especially liked your choice of songs, so very typical of Shankar Jaikishan !

And the good that I can do."

Outside of Navketan and SDB, Dev's 'second-guard' composers in the 60's were SJ. SJ formed their own partnership with Rafi and Dev and the result was excellent blockbuster songs. This is a nice solo from a famous Dev film, in which he paired with the beautiful Sadhna.

High quality rip:

Ek But Banaunga
Film: Asli Naqli
Year: 1962
Lyrics: Hasrat Jaipuri

Vocal Acrobatics at their best in this song, a lovely composition, Rafi's vocals soar and glide over SJ's tune. Filmed on Uttam Kumar, this being his debut film, SJ gave him a winner in terms of music.

Aye Chand Ki Zebai
Film: Chhoti Si Mulaqat
Year: 1967
Lyrics: Hasrat Jaipuri

SJ's rocking guitar work and Rafi's wonderful singing make a great combination in this song.

A really nice Lata-Rafi duet composed by Shankar in the late seventies, very well sung by the two legends.

Very Clear CD Rip:

Tumhare Bin Guzare Hain
Film: Atmaram
Year: 1979
Lyrics: Vishweshwar Sharma

Tujh Mein Hoon Main
Film: Rivaaj
Year: 1972
Lyrics: SH Bihari

*Trivia: The film's songs included Rafi, Kishore, Manna Dey, Lata, Asha, Suman Kalyanpur & Sharda. There were six lyricists in this film, Hasrat Jaipuri, SH Bihari, Indeevar, Anjaan, Neeraj, Kaifi Azmi.
