This song is from a CD released by a French Ethnomusicology institute - details later if requested, don't have the CD handy right now. These are Bauls who live the Baul lifestyle recorded live in the field at one of their meets over twenty years ago. The music is rather raw but very genuine. This music, of course, provides the roots of a lot of more urbane modern music in Bengali as well as in hindi films. The lyrics and the Baul philosophies are matters for discussion in chit-o-chat perhaps.
