Can anyone tell me if this song is from Guru Dutt's Pyaasa (1957)?

Binod, Im 99% sure this song is not from Pyaasa, I know what you mean, as there are couplets recited by Rafi Sahab in Pyaasa, this song sounds a bit later than the 50s, my guess is 1964ish, it actually sounds an influence from Dev Anands Sharabi, "Mujhe Le Chalo" especially when delivering the second part of the couplet "Zamaane Mein Taqdeer Sab ki Juda Hai" "Tujhe Kuch Mila Hai Mujhe Kuch Mila Hai" <<--- this part,... if anybody knows please let us know

thanks

I felt the same too but nevertheless asked such a foolish question because: a) I wanted to eliminate Pyaasa (who knows there could be something lurking over there that did not get publicized), b) a definite positive-response-seeking question may not have resulted in as many responses as in controversial questions, c) sometimes songs tend to have some elements of anachronism or timelessness inherent in themselves like the Pakeezah songs (one could easily put a 50s, 60s, or even 70s label to them), and finally d) no question (no matter how foolish) is in reality a foolish question as my late teacher used to say. Another of my late teachers used to say "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread." Let us see what the real angels have to have say here.

Binod.
