(1,10) , (2,9), (3,8) , (4,7), (5,6) Each of them would not shake their own hand and their partner's hand. Following is the maximum number of handshakes possible. 1-2 2-3 3-4 4-5 5-9 6-7 7-8 8-9 1-3 2-4 3-5 4-6 5-7 6-8 7-9 8-10 1-4 2-5 3-6 4-8 5-8 6-9 7-10 1-5 2-6 3-7 4-9 5-10 6-10 1-6 2-7 3-9 4-10 1-7 2-8 3-10 1-8 2-10 1-9 I dont know what could be the reason.. why someone would not liek to shake someone's hands ...

N

If I were visible, my name would always be in that online users list! Now if I'm invisible, only someone who wants to know whether I've been online would click on my profile to find... and fortunately, nobody would want to check that! And Mandrake-ji, you used to be invisible too! What was your reason? THE INTELLIGENT MUST MAKE CONCESSIONS!

Dedicated Member Group: Members Posts: 22493 Joined: 20-October 03 Member No.: 3	Rom ji What did I tell you Everytime you get on hf page the online list at the bottom of the page.. not only lists the name of the people been online.. juz run your mouse over it and you will see when that person came online Invisible - ha ha ha not really a foolproof way to log I gave up being invisible, coz it made no sense.. and I also realized that if an admin is around, people who face probs can pm us immediately to redress their probs N

Then I saw eventually that people I wanted to interact with were noticeable (at that time - previous IPB version) only if they posted, or if I went checking... I realized that I couldn't want something that I wasn't practising. Besides, there really was no reason to hide. Friends would be happy if I were here, and those-who-aren't-friends-yet had no reason to bother whether I came or went.... Transparency...... Self - belief is the most potent force.

Another reason I feel happy about ppl online list being listed.. is coz I am reassured all is well with them.. esp when they are away suddenly for a period of time.. At the moment I am concerned about Bhirgu No sign of him for over a month now

And as per your table above it is 8. Now apply condition number 1 (number of handshakes done by each individual whom Kevin observed is different). Remember that Kevin observed all the 9 people (except for himself) and so there are 9 distint number of handshakes observed by Kevin. Max being 8 as you proved above and so the least should be 0. So there should be a person who didn't shook hands with anyone. I think I was vague in condition number three. It should be "Think about possible number of handshakes each person can do".
