QUOTE Next question koi bhi do pls thoda easy wala dena.. thoda mere level ka Amita .. uske liye to mujeh abhi bahut aur saal lagenge to come up to your level ![]() khair.. hare is another "mush asked" one : ) Mr. Slow, Mr. Medium, Mr. Fast, and Mr. Speed must cross a rickety rope bridge in 17 minutes. The bridge can carry at most two people at a time. Furthermore, it's dark, and there is only one flashlight; any single person or pair of people crossing the bridge must have the flashlight with them. (The bridge is too wide for the flashlight to be thrown; it must be carried across.) Each man walks at a different speed. A pair travelling together must walk at the rate of the slower man. Mr. Slow can cross the bridge in at most 10 minutes; Mr. Medium can cross in 5 minutes; Mr. Fast can cross in 2 minutes; Mr. Speed can cross in 1 minute. How do all four men get across in the bridge in 17 minutes? |

Mr Fast & Mr. Speed should cross the bridge first if they take two minutes, then Mr. Fast should be back with the flashlight, takes another two minutes Now Mr Slow & Mr Medium should cross in ten minutes. Mr. Speed gets back to Mr. Fast with flashlight in one minute. Now both Mr. Speed & Mr. Fast should cross the bridge in two minutes. |

Five competitors -- A, B, C, D, and E -- enter a swimming race that awards gold, silver, and bronze medals to the first three to complete it. Each of the following compound statements about the race is false, although one of the two clauses in each may be true. A didn't win the gold, and B didn't win the silver. D didn't win the silver, and E didn't win the bronze. C won a medal, and D didn't. A won a medal, and C didn't. D and E both won medals. Who won each of the medals? If the keyword is - One statement is False and other is true Lets assume, A didn't win the GOLD - False, B didn't win the Silver - True D didn't win the Silver - False, E didn't win the Bronze - True C won a medal - True, D didn't win - False {A won a medal - True ( If taking the first statement - A didn't win the Gold is False) C didn't win - False ( if assuming third statement C won a medal is true)} {D won the medal - True ( third staement D didn't win is false) E won the medal - False (E didnt win any medal) } so if A didn't win the Gold Medal is false but A won the medal is true, it has to be - Gold if C won the medal is true, it has to be - Bronze because nobody won the Bronze medal & D won the Silver if D didn't win the silver statement is false. A - Gold C - Bronze D - Silver. |

Hold one rope and climb up the other. Untie / cut it at the top and swing back on the remaining. Then, assuming that you cannot risk a broken leg, and that you are 5'-6" tall at least, you can cut off the rope at 10 feet and drop down.
So you can have 50 + 20 = 70 feet. But I know I am a dumb guy who never gets it right ![]() Self - belief is the most potent force.

Option 2:
a) Hold on to one, climb the other, untie it and swing back on the first. That gives you 50 feet. ![]() c) Get on rope 1, untie rope 2, and tie one end to the end of rope 1. d) Adjust the lengths so that the lengths on both sides are the same. Slither down to the ground. e) Pull the rope down. You have both ropes full. Bingo!! You've got 100 feet of rope without using violence ![]() Self - belief is the most potent force.
