Yeah I also like Khurshid alot,
Besides her songs from Tansen and Bhakt Surdas, I like "bulbul aa to bhi ga" from Babar, "itna bhi na woh samjha kai gaye", "ambwa pai koyal boley", "badaria baras gayi us paar" (all from Moorti) and "Jala patang" from Mumtaz Mahal. Ummer. |

Later Bulo C.Rani, another stalwart of Ranjit Movietone, too composed that immortal melody in Khurshid's voice (Mukesh and Hameeda were there too), Badariya Baras Gayi Us Paar. This is the first time I am watching Geeta Nizami. She isn't pretty, but looks bubbly and adorable  One thing which caught my attention is her hairstyle which is quite unique  Ummer. |

Yes she did not appear to be from the top most lot of that era. Speaks with heavy punjabi accent in this movie. Will upload a video song from the same era with one of the top most heroines of that time....wait for some hours. I know you are a fan of that babe.
