Anyways there is some ray of hope for all Sachin fans. There are chances that he *may* return to Indian squad for forthcoming series against Zimbabwe.

Chaliye, aap kehte hein to theek hei... inka cheque inko waapas de dijiye.

It'd be good if SRT comes back... to what avail, though? To be bothered by the likes of Ray Price! headbang.gif Poor chap! Why does he forget that he is Sachin Tendulkar, not just any good batsman! sad1.gif

QUOTE(rom @ Aug 13 2005, 05:04 PM)
Five times! And I thought nobody would have had the heart to snatch an award from a frail old man like him...
So were the awards made those five years, and who did win the peace prize?
*

While there were people who identified Mahatma Gandhi as an extra-ordinary soul, there were others who didn't wanted to invite the wrath of British by giving the award to a person who was the leader of campaign against their rule.

From www.nobelprize.org, following are the winners of nobel peace prize in these years:

1937: Lord Edgar Algernon Robert Gascoyne Cecil
1938: Nansen International Office for Refugees
1939: None
1947: Friends Service Council (The Quakers) and American Friends Service Committee (The Quakers)
1948: None

If you are interested, here is an interesting article on this topic.

Cheers,

Given how others have performed, I guess Chappell will be the first to ask him to get back to his natural game (read somewhere that he was eager to know how Sachin is recovering). Lets hope he overcomes his injury. Indian cricket needs him more than ever.

Ok, using Phone-A-Friend mujhe pata chala ki mera jawab galat hai. Answer is 5, I missed Ghaziabad, my colleague (a delhite) helped me tongue.gif (I am considering Old and New Delhi as one city)

Aapko kuchh nahin milega. The correct answer was Anjali-ji's Sachin Tendulkar, not Priya-ji's Sachuuu. Hei na Vivek?
Ghabariye nahin, shayad aapko phir hot seat pe baithne ka mauqa mile!

Oooh! Galat jawab! Sorry, aapko ab hot seat se nikalana padega!
Answer's actually seven, so D is correct.

These are considered the seven Delhi... founded in different eras, on different locations in the current Delhi region... they're all quite mixed up now, of course.

Quila Rai Pithora
Mehrauli
Siri
Tughlakabad
Firozabad
Shergarh
Shahjehabanad

Aur Vivek-ji, yeh P-ji ne to shor machana shuru kar diya hei... inka cheque kahan rakha aapne? Please inhe de dijiye...
