One technique that Manik da mentioned to a common friend that Geeta di had was that she sang with the consonants being pronounced abruptly. This is a technique that German Singing lessons demand. Now Geeta di just knew that this is effective and used it without any training. That was just natural in her.

thanks a lot for this rare song.do you have the other geeta dutt song from mr. india.i have both the songs but audio quality is not very good.
the film has music by g s kohli who was assistant to o p nayyar in many movies.

But first - I haven't been here in a while and I can't help but remember Bappaditya Chatterjee. Wherever you are, rest in peace friend. You'll be remembered as long as I hear Geeta ji.

Shivani, the distortions you say you hear in your version were very audible in my mp3 cd version. This is a CD rip, I do hear them still, but they are toned down, see if the copy is better than what you have.
