Thanks a lot.

I have another couple of request of Ashaji. FIRST ONE is "Amai tumi je bhalo beshechho, jibone je tai dola lagano, praner porir ghum bhangano....". I think it is composed by Manna Dey. Second one is "Aro dure cholo jaai" from Tin Bhuboner Pare (I think).

BTW "Aaro Dure Cholo Jaai" is from the film "Chhoddobeshi",the (original) Bengali version of "Chupke Chupke".

Dear Debu,

Have you noticed the prelude of this beautiful Asha-tai number composed by Manna-babu? It's exactly the same as the prelude of Talat-saab's 'andhe jahaan ke andhe raaste' from Patita (?) by SJ.

Manna-babu was an unabashed admirer of SJ (particularly S) and this shows.

I don't think "ChaDDobeshi" had music by SDB though (which "Chhupke chhupke"
did). I think it might have been Sudhin Dasgupta. Can somebody confirm?

- Yes Archieda, he was something extra-ordinary. I have heard he was a good musician also. But y didnt he take KK ever ????? Seems he prefered Asha / Lata / Manna only.
