Hmm......this is a rendition of the song "AKHILAANDESHWARI" in the Ragam "Dhwijaavanti" (Same as "JAIJAIWANTI" in Hindustani), set to Adi Thalam. The song has been rendered by the great Maharajapuram Santhanam. Hope you love this one......

This is a rare recording of the Guru and Shishya performing together. Uploaded is a classy rendition of the Muthuswamy Dikshithar Krithi "Maaye Tvam Yaahi" in the Ragam Tharangini, set to Adi Thalam. Really Beautiful to observe how the Shishya matches the Guru note to note while rendering the song so beautifully...... A treat for music lovers....A TRUE COLLECTOR'S ITEM....Worth its weight in GOLD..... A real pity that both the Guru and Shishya are not amongst us anymore.......May God bless their souls....
