Lata, koshish jaari hai. Pehle gaana d/l karoonga, fir sunoonga, aur fir (voice drops to the floor), ho sakey to, (not-angry hushed whisper) identify karoonga wink2.gif [try imagining an Amitabh delivery for similar effect wink2.gif ]

Self - belief is the most potent force.

This song is from the film "Jait Re Jait". The other singer (apart from the chorus! smile1.gif) is AB's daughter Varsha.

Warm regards,
Abhay

Thanks for the info Abhayji!!! In Hindi there is just one duet by mother and daughter. Are there more in Marathi? Would love to hear them.

Priya-"ji" (let's see who blinks first! smile1.gif), I presume the Hindi song you mention is the film version of "ghir aayii kaarii ghaTaa matavaarii" from "Junoon". If so, do you have a copy of it? Have been looking for it for a long time. I don't know of any more Marathi duets between them.

Warm regards,
Abhay

Lata,
As Abhay says, this track is from Jait Re Jait... Since it was a single song of it's kind, I don't have any more of those sad1.gif
I do have some of the lesser known songs from Jait Re Jait. But none of them features Asha Bhosle, so I'll enlist them in Hridaynath forum. You can let me know which ones you'd like me to upload !!!

Marathi version of the song? I was referring to the Hindi song itself - "ghir aayii kaarii ghaTaa matavaarii, saavan kii aayii bahaar re" - one of my favourite Asha songs. In the film, it is a duet between Asha and Varsha; the album version is a solo by Asha.

Warm regards,
Abhay
