I asked my collector. He too could not come up with the song. It was not on the EP/LP. cry.gif

I have seen this movie on TV back in the 80s. Never seen a
DVD/VCD/VHS after that. Of course at the time I saw the film,
who knew that this extra verse (if it was indeed present in the

I did not even have the necessary sound equipment to record
music from TV back then.
So perhaps somebody out there does have a VHS tape.

BTW, if the verse was censored, would it not have been censored
from the film as well?

Not necessarily. Some original release might survive before the censor board fell over it and mangled it.
Maybe even some long playing 78 RPM survives?

i heard a song from an oooooooooooooold movie on radio a few days back... the song is in Asha ji and Md. Rafi's voice and it goes like "meri tasvir le ke kya karoge luti jaagir leke kya karoge... " doesn anyone have this one!!!

No Bobby, the singers are Asha, Rafi and Balbir. No Geeta or Manna Dey,
at least not in the version that I have. And I have one on CD.
Thought I would upload it later today, but decided to do it right away.
This is a good recording and 6:34 long. Priya, you may want to download
