I watched Mandi by Shyam Benegal last night and it had a beautiful music score by Vanraj Bhatia that has got to count as "rare". In particular, Smita Patel sings/hums a song about half way thru' the movie that is in Asha's voice and has no background instrumentation whatsoever. No instruments, just pure voice (you can even hear where AB breaks for breath through the verse).

Here for your enjoyment, then, are

(i) ishq ke shole ko bhadkao ke kuch raat kate and (ii) Zabaanein badalti hain.
