To think I had both parts on the same cd and still did not guess--of course I just homed in on this song as my list had it as Ghungroo Ki Awaz and Preety had asked for those songs.
Actually I now feel the smaller version is better. Less embellished, more poignant? Thots?

Well, it has more drama associated with it, especially with the climactic nature
of the end. So that automatically makes it more powerful. And Asha carries
it through beautifully. And as you said, it is less embellished. And that helps
considerably. I prefer the "less is more" style in general (one of the reasons
"Chain se hum ko kabhi" is my favorite Asha song).

Just found the other solo from Ghungroo ki Awaz!!!!
My lists appear to be woefully incomplete (and I thot I had painstakingly updated them--back to the drawing board!!! sad1.gif )

Here is jo bhi tune dekha teri aankhon ka bharam hai

(Some people are advised to check out the usage of 'bharam' in this context!!! Samajhne walon ke liye ishara hi kaafi hai!!! rollf.gif )
