Yesterday , I saw Mughal-e-Azam - the coloured version - AGAIN
And it was simply super 8/10 I wish they had included ALL the songs, though "Shikwa nahin kisise, kisise gila nahin,
Naseeb mein nahin tha jo - humko mila nahin.." |

I enjoyed these films:
1. Namesake 2. Namastey London 3. Metro 4. Pyar ke side effects watch these at your own risk: 1. Boom Shakla boom 2. Train 3. Full n final Cheers SS PLAYBACK SINGING STARTS AND ENDS WITH RAFISAAB. IN TERMS OF QUALITY, CONSISTENCY & VERSATILITY, RAFISAAB IS INFINITE LIGHT YEARS AHEAD OF ALL SINGERS BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER HIM. |

I have just seen SIVAJI - THE BOSS ( A Tamil film) ,
It is one BIG MESS from Start to finish nothing's right except Rajnikant....he can carry off anything even the most ridiculous roles and believe me this is one......apparently it is one of the biggest hits having been released in 34 countries.... may be more i am not sure.... To Date it is supposed to be the most expensive movie ever made in India and what a waste i can't remember a single scene right..... Thankfully the tickets were complimentary... Cheeni Kum - 6.5/10
Only good for the comedy moments. AB is matchless, his egotistical moments too good. Paresh Rawal was superb as the girl's father. A flawed Gandhian, he played his part to the T. The conversation relating to the cricket matches was very good. Tabu was poised, as always. IMO the little girl was wasted (The only sore point in the film). She was made to mouth inane dialogues, absolutely inappropriate for her age). The plot was also far-fetched, considering Indian sensibilities. I'd say its a one-time watch (only for the one-liners). |
