I am afraid, however, that the other file you have uploaded - ai dil merii wafaa me.n - is not the Ira Nagrath duet: it is again the Lata-Meena Kapoor version (wrongly labelled as Lata-Ira Nagrath). Meena Kapoor's slightly husky voice is unmistakable, but here's a simple test you can try for yourself: check at around the 1:12 mark - you will hear a sharp in-breath interrupting the word "samaanewaale" (samaa..breath...newaale) the *first* time she says "dil me.n samaanewaale" (it is not there when she repeats the line immediately afterwards). Now check it against the same point in the version uploaded by Sachin earlier: you will find it's the same recording. Warm regards, Abhay |
