Thank you so much for the prompt response!
A small point if you don't mind: this is not a ghazal; it is a geet. Thanks and warm regards, Abhay This post has been edited by abhayp: Jan 17 2009, 10:35 PM |

3:13 @ 128 Composer: Kamal Das Gupta. The same man who wrote so many gems for Jagmohan and Hemant. He wrote only a handful of songs for Talat. Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W. H. Auden |

When you say "wrote" songs, I presume you are referring to the music composition. The lyrics of this geet are by Faiyaz Hashmi. I didn't know Kamal Dasgupta had tuned it. Warm regards, Abhay Yes, I mean composition. I've never paid much attention the the lyricist but Faiyaz Hashmi collaborated a lot with KDG so it must've been his lyrics. This song was certainly composed by KDG.
