Can Anybody Be Completely Knowledgeable About An Artist, ? Options

This idea of a thread genereted suddenly out of the blue ( thanks to one wierd post, from a wierd person, in a yahoogroup )

Speaking about me, I think this is not possible in my "lifetime"...I hardly know the 3 artists whom I love, Kishore, Pancham and AK.....there is so many things to discover about them....their songs, music, personality and life....Kishoreda, I am exploring for 17 years, Panchamda I started listening "properly" only around 4 years back and Amit Kumar just 2 years back discovered a wealth of bengali songs of his...so there is a long way to go.

I think the people like Panchammagic group in Pune try and discover, in a proper systematic way, new things and every time they are bound for a surprise hidden in Pancham ( their prime and only interest ? )

the learning ( and enjoying ) curve will never stop, IMHO !!!

Any views/thoughts ?

Well human body / mind is very complex, to simply put this thought across…. I am still discovering myself. Doosre ko jan lena to kamaal hota hai.. aur kamaal sirf bagwaan / Khuda karta hai… insaan ke bas ki baat nahi hai…

Kishore Kumar ne apni 58 years ke life mein jo kuch bhi kiya hai, agar woh sab mujhe apne 30 saal ki umar mein pata chal gaya, to main to bhagwaan ban jaunga!

Aur Kishore Kumar ne jin geeton ko gaane mein apna din raat laga liya barsoon taak, agar woh saab geet mujhe kuch hi samay mein mil jae, to un geeton ka maaza hi nahin milega.

The fun in getting all the knowledge of an artist to me, is when you get the pain and feel how much effort the artist put in to get his name engrossed in history.
