the lyrics sound..so lovely. they had gift to express so many subtle expressions those days...!! just love it. this film..was also in Telugu...Gudi gantalu...( temple bells ) and made in Hindi as Aadmi. After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

We must track all the remade ones.. and how each of them individually made a hit! It will be knowledgeable and fun to do that

Have heard this old song.. Madana ezhil raaja nee vaarayo.. I remember distinctly it had a telugu version. (Probably Anjali devi was the heroine for both movies).
actually no! I got this info. The movie had SAVITHIRI Film: Chella Pillai (1955/ AVM) Lyrics: Udumalai Narayana Kavi Music: R.Sudarsanam. The film starred K.R.Ramaswami, Savitri, Thangavelu, Javar Seetharaman & others. This post has been edited by HumTum: Nov 18 2008, 12:10 AM |

Dil pukare...Aa re..Aa re...
I love the composition. amazing composition of SDB. Veda is noted for these things. Actually i suspect he is nothing but a good composer..who can arrange instruments...Love it , even in tamil. Music..music.. After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
