21 Grams (2003) Sean Penn, Naomi Watts, Benicio Del Toro.. Director: Alejandro González Iñárritu The first 10-15 mins of the movie I was totally lost. However, as the movie progressed, I could not just get away from it. It was as if one started working on a jigsaw puzzle and slowly decrypting it. A brilliant movie revolving around 3 characters. I just wonder why the dierctor was not nominated for acacedmy awards even after making such a nice movie. This movie portrays a new dimension in film making... Recommendation to Watch: Must See Jagz I asked my video chap, he does not have the movie. I guess I will have to wait till it gets telecast on any of the Star/Hbo/Hallmark channels. |

Haan I have seen Gone with the Wind (in fact bought the dvd for my collection). Loved both Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh in the movie. I first read the novel before seeing the movie.
Havent seen Waterloo Bridge. Other classics I would recommend Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice(BBC). I have Emma, Jane Eyre(Timothy Dalton - he was a bit melodramatic and didnt suit the role of Mr.Rochester) he he he., Sense and Sensibility(Hugh Grant, Kate Winslet) - but I was not very impressed by these movies.. preferred the novels. |

August, Give it another try. I have read the book a few times. While the movie is great, it does not come even close to the book. And Olivia de Havilland also needs a mention for a wonderful performance. Two of my all time favorite movies (I believe not all that well known) are - The Milagro Beanfield War Dead Poets Society I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason and intellect has intended us to forgo their use - Galileo Galilei

Havent seen Waterloo Bridge. Waterloo Bridge is a very nice movie. Aas Paas was inspired by it. I had seen this movie on TNT eversince I'm trying to get this movie. No luck till now. Hopefully it would be released on DVD in future. The Plague Today I saw a horror movie.. The Plague. Many sequences reminded me of Dawn of the dead movie which I had seen 1 or 2 years back. The plot outline is ten years have passed since the world's children have fallen into a coma. Tonight they're waking up and all hell is breaking loose. An un-holy battle between the generations is being waged against all adults, and time is not on their side. Its a one time watch. Did not find it all that scary. kuch bhi nahin hai tera mol, boli na badi bol, khilona tu maati ka...

UNITED 93
I watched United 93 today and remembering the struggle passengers must have gone through on September 11 shocks to my spine. UNITED 93, shows the heroic struggle between the passengers and hijackers of the fourth plane that was to be hijacked on September 11, 2001. This was the plane that never made to its target. The director Paul Greengrass has chosen the most politically and emotionally charged source material available to an artist in the early 21st century, and shaped it into a psychologically draining, terrifyingly real, and technically brilliant film. United 93 depicts one of the most terrifying ordeals the United States has ever had to face and that it was released less than five years after those events took place plays an undeniably enormous role in how the film is received. And the president was not shown at all. kuch bhi nahin hai tera mol, boli na badi bol, khilona tu maati ka...

The Break-Up
Watched this movie today. An unromantic movie about Brooke and Gary. The movie has its comic share, but the entire movie seems like to educate couples how to fight! It's a one time movie.. if you've got nothing to do.. then do a break-up. Hero Gary taught us all that we become respected only when we break-up see.. he did his logs, lost weight and spoke proper englisss after he broke up with Brooke. Plot outline: After Brooke (Aniston) calls it quits with her boyfriend Gary (Vaughn), neither person is willing to move out of the condo they share. Taking the advice of their repsective friends and confidants (and a few total strangers), they both engage in mental warfare designed to force the other person to flee the premises -- until they both realize they might be fighting to keep their relationship alive. kuch bhi nahin hai tera mol, boli na badi bol, khilona tu maati ka...
