I read om imdb that Shamshad Begum had sung a song Asomir Mukhate Hahi Nai Etiya in the Assamese film Pioli Phukan(1955). (a trio song with Bhupen Hazarika and Gunada Das).
If available with members request its upload. It would be interesting to listen to her in Assamese.
This movie starred Eva Achao, Beena Devi, Jnanada Kakoti and Phani Sharma.

According to imdb she also sang in two more Assamese films Indramalati(1939) and and Joymati(1935 - the first Assamese talkie!). Does anybody have details on her singing in Assamese and other Indian Languages (if its not an imdb mistake).

Search on net shows that Bhupen Hazarika was part of the song with Gunada Das. Is Bhupen Hazarika the MD as well?
