When you say "wrote" songs, I presume you are referring to the music composition. The lyrics of this geet are by Faiyaz Hashmi. I didn't know Kamal Dasgupta had tuned it.

Yes, I mean composition. I've never paid much attention the the lyricist but Faiyaz Hashmi collaborated a lot with KDG so it must've been his lyrics. This song was certainly composed by KDG.

Orignal was issued on 78rpm and a Redone version was
included in an LP of Talat. Which one you have got ??
